Last Sunday we helped NAS London organise a Ben Nevis event for a group of 26 including a few young people. It went really well, everyone reached the summit and they all enjoyed the day. We had a brilliant team of guides with them and the weather was kind, what more could one ask for!

Archery at the House on the Loch
Yesterday we went to the House on the Loch at Loch Duntelchaig to do some Archery with a lovely group of folk having an enjoyable week together. Isabella was the youngest, not yet 4 and she loved it!
Climbing and canoeing
The 130th Glasgow Boys Brigade had a great day at Kingussie rock climbing and abseiling. Reach 4 Reality had a day of canoeing and den building on Loch Insh. The intrepid young folk wanted to explore an overgrown channel off the Spey which turned out to be quite fun.

Two afternoons of fun with a lovely Crossreach group who came to us last year as well. They love the rafted canoeing and tried archery for the first time this year too which was another great success!

Shared Lives at Glenmore
Another wonderful day of fun, chat and new challenges for some. The Fun Session is always a good ice breaker before the group splits up to do other things. We had Rafted Canoeing, Orienteering, Archery and Indoor Climbing on offer. There were other things too such as Well Being sessions and Drumming.

variety
A fun week has been had starting with a Hen Party day of Team Challenges and Archery with a lovely group of ladies all up for having a laugh even though the weather was not that kind, then a few sessions of Indoor Climbing using the new wall at Glenmore Lodge with young folk from Robert Gordons school and finally a day on Ben Nevis with a group who really wanted to make sure that they all reached the summit for a variety of reasons and they were very supportive of each other.

Loch Sionscaig
Our second visit to this wonderful, wild place and we cannot wait to go back. It is definitely our place when we need fantastic scenery, excellent canoe exploration and solitude. All we could hear were the skylarks and meadow pipits, wind too on our last night and day! Easterlies seem particularly noisy!

Active Kids
On Tuesday we met up with Kyle, Sophie, Lewis, Austin and Charlie for some fun in Glenmore Forest. They were enjoying a Treasure Hunt, Den Building and an afternoon of Archery where the parents of Lewis and Austin joined in. The weather was good and everyone had a lot of fun!
