It was the last day of the summer holidays for most of the local children. how quickly the summer has gone! We had a fun day in the forest, looking for Treasure clues, playing games, building simple boats, and making new friends.

More Fun days
We have had lovely days this summer running activities for local children and although we always have a plan for each day, the dynamics of the group means that we often do different things to the plan. There is always a definite activity like Climbing, Rockets and Archery, then the rest of the day is a range of games such as Charades, Camouflage, Balloon Debate, Quizes, Word games and recently we have been able to bring out the acting, singing and directing skills of our children. Some days we have short comedy dramas then yesterday we had a little musical treat for their parents. After a great time on the Indoor wall, followed by a variety of games, it was decided to rehearse a Christmas song with a bit of comedy to perform when parents came to collect them.
