Fortrose river trip

It has become an annual event to run a 2 day canoe trip on the Spey for pupils from Fortrose Academy. Always friendly, polite young folk to work with. They camp at Boat of Bailliefurth where they can have a pleasant evening around the campfire. We had a bit of a headwind on the first day which kept them working so on the second day we made sure they had more fun!

Bettyhill

Yesterday we were working at Bettyhill for Kushi Adventures with Farr High School. Fun youngsters to be with, up for having a good time during the activities of archery and canoeing along with walking. Lovely place to run activities!

Shared Lives

We had a lovely day on Saturday with the Aberdeen Shared Lives group at Glenmore Lodge. The weather held and folk were able to join in with a Fun session, Treasure Hunt, Archery, Indoor Climbing and Rafted Canoeing along with having some beauty treatment. This is the third year we have been involved with these folk and every year we see confidence growing, new people joining and being helped by 'oldtimers' and lots of new friendships being formed. Altogether a wonderful day for all!

Ben Nevis

The weather was superb on Saturday when we were both on the Ben with groups for Maximum Adventure. It was a very busy day, lots fo folk going for the 3 Peaks as Ian's group was. My group were enjoying climbing the Ben only and really made the most of the glorious weather.

Ben Nevis & other things

We have had a couple of great sessions with the group of lovely ladies who come to stay with Jude and Dave Craig every year. They receive a lot of pampering from Jude who offers a variety of treatments and therapies then do some activities with us. this year it was Rafted Canoeing on Loch Insh and Archery at the Hayfield. In between this, we both led groups for Maximum Adventure on Ben Nevis. My group experienced a snow shower on the summit! We were taking our time and made a day of it whereas Ian's group were fast as they were going for the 3 Peaks in 24 hours.
