On Friday we set off from Moy Bridge and walked up to the bealaich at 750m between Beinn a'Chlachair and Geal Charn. It was very misty, very windy and very drizzly. Eventually found a suitable campsite and got sorted. It snowed during the night and became so cold that everything froze solid including the boots. What a lovely view in the morning though, straight down to Loch a' Bhealaich Leamhain, it was a real Winter Wonderland. Took a while to get packed as things were stuck together with ice but eventually packed up and set off across the col between Geal Charn and Creag Pitridh. Descended Coire a Mhaigh down to Lochan an Earba and back to van. A grand way to spend New Year!
